There was very little at our wedding that was traditional, especially the first dance. We were inspired by "evolution of dance" and watched many videos for ideas, we really enjoyed Brian and Katie's version. So we decided to do our own evolution of dance, with a few changes to the music. One of our challenges was that we had audience all around us, so there was no such thing as "facing the front"! We also had a pole in the middle of the dance floor because the reception was in a stretch tent. We only found out about the pole the night before the wedding so we had to quickly adjust our dance around it!
