We got married on the 27th November 2009 in Perth, Western Australia. My husband, Rob, is a dance choreographer and performer and we wanted to make our first dance very memorable. We did a mix of “Breathless” by Shayne Ward and “Beautiful” by Akon.

A fun surprise wedding dance from couple John and Rachel who are from New York. The did a great job with the surprise element of the dance, John made it look like he dropped Rachel on the floor while dancing which then initiated the surprise wedding dance. They danced to the song "Walking On Sunshine" by Katrina and The Waves. The couple danced with their bridal party and included tambourines into their choreography. This dance was shown on TLC's Rock the Reception series.

Another great surprise wedding dance from TLC's Rock the Reception series. The couple, Todd and Marti are from Redondo Beach California. Their wedding dance was choreographed to "Are You Gonna Be My Girl" by Jet. This wedding dance was really unique, as not many wedding dances are done to rock music. Todd and Marti also added another surprise by using a tear away wedding dress, during the dance Todd embraced Marti and then teared away the dress revealing a mini skirt. They did a great job and their guests really loved it.

While this is not a wedding dance, it is too hilarious not to post. A very funny moment at the altar, after being pronounced husband and wife, both the Bride and Groom update their status on Twitter and Facebook via cell phone. The couple just did this to be funny, they are not Facebook or Twitter addicts. They also did it to update their family across the country.
Adria and Alvin's wedding dance. This couple knows how to get down, they did an amazing job with their surprise wedding dance. Their guests were totally stunned and surprised. The dance was well choreographed and professional. This was part of TLC "Rock the Reception" series where professional choreographers assist brides and grooms as they surprise their guests with special first wedding dances.
